You will be aware from previous briefings and articles in the Newsletter that HCL are implementing a new electronic care record known as the Pass System with a view to meeting the new contract award from Liverpool City Council ‘Help to live at Home’.
We are on target to have all Service Users assessed on this system by the end of February and they will benefit from care staff having a better understanding of their care needs. Another advantage to this system, providing all staff follow the person centred care plans, is that HCL will improve the CQC rating on person centred care.
The next area to be rolled out live will be Kensington and staff training will be offered as each locality goes live.
This new system will provide HCL with live data on each call delivered and what outcomes were achieved which is what Liverpool City Council and CQC wish to see.
