Recruitment into social care can be difficult. Often people who are unemployed find the care worker role challenging or do not consider it because of adverse media coverage and lack of knowledge about how rewarding the role can be.
With this in mind, HCL have been working with the Prince’s Trust to identify potential candidates for the role of Care Worker. The Prince’s Trust helps 13-30 year olds who are struggling at school or unemployed to transform their lives and last year they helped 56,000 young people change their lives.
In June we are hosting a group of potential workers from the Prince’s Trust who will complete one week with the Prince’s Trust supporting them with topics that will support their employability. They will then join HCL for an introduction into Social Care and will complete training with us supported by Eduk8. Our commitment is that we will offer all potential candidates an interview.
We are hoping that all candidates will do well and that we will gain some new employees.
Please also feel free to contact us at HCL for further information about the programme or if you have any other questions about careers with us.
