Responsive Service
Early rise service 7.00 am -11 am
In response to the demand for early calls to prepare service users for day centre visits HCL offering an additional morning service commencing at 7am. This service will be geographically based and delivered to service users awaiting collection for day centres.
Mobile Back to Bed Service
In response to Liverpool's Joint Commissioning Strategy for Older Peoples Services and The Skills for care research paper on "Who cares Now" we recognise service users want more choice in how their services are delivered. We offer a more flexible back to bed service to accommodate those service users who prefer to retire late in the evening.
Service delivery time band 8.00pm - 10.00pm
Services will be delivered at the above times indicated. In order to protect the safety of care staff and for efficiency of delivery we provide a double up service one being a car owner driver. This service will be staffed by experienced care support staff with NVQ level 2/3 qualifications and experience in specialist care services. This service this is a needs led service that is task orientated to 15 minute to 30 minute visits. Consideration will be given to the number of service users allocated and the geographical area covered.
HCL has extensive experience in delivering services to the elderly and young disabled. Our workforce development plan includes training in specialist care that includes management staff and care/support staff. The management team includes nursing expertise and extensive domiciliary care experience. Our aim is to offer generic services that address the needs of the service user and there relatives/carers to enable them to remain in there own homes for as long as possible.
The company works in collaboration with Wirral Met, Liverpool Community College and Alder training and EDUK8 to incorporate training programme's that address our workforce plan. HCL strategy is to continually invest in training and development of its workforce in order to comply with CSCI, changes in government legislation and in response to individual service users needs.
