International Women’s Day Business Link

On 7th March 2008 to mark International Women’s Day Business Link held an event called Small World… BIG Business and Karen was a guest speaker.
Karen was excellent and is a brilliant role model for the women that were in the audience. You could have heard a pin drop whilst she was speaking as the audience were so engrossed in Karen telling her story of how she developed her business Home Carers the hurdles she faced whilst still working and bringing up a family and then shaping it into the successful business it is today.
Comments from the event have been wonderful on how inspirational Karen’s speech was and that it came across how she is passionate about her Staff and the people that her company cares. The advice she shared with the women was invaluable from the lessons she had learnt sometimes the hard way and what personally drives her to being such a phenomenal success. She goes the extra mile and her company is run to mirror her own values and beliefs.
It was a privilege to meet her and I know from the feedback that the women who heard her talk on the day they have certainly been inspired to go on and make a difference in the own lives and businesses.
